This task has three submission points and contributes 60% of the total course grade.

Rationale

This assessment is designed to enable you develop the capacity to reflect, an important element of professional life. Reflection allows you to evaluate current knowledge and understand and accept personal strengths and weaknesses. These course objectives are covered by the assignment.

Task description

The assignment requires you to write three short reflective journal entries. Each entry will reflect on a specific content within the course. The three entries should not exceed 2400 words in total. You may choose to allocate approximately equal words to each of the three pieces.

Each entry requires you to bring together:

. Information from relevant readings

. Way of making sense - linking of concepts from the relevant part of the course to the assessment question

. Personal experience or reflection on the assessment question

Reflect on the Assessment question in depth, and write in the first person about your considered view. Each journal entry is based on a different topic and requires you to incorporate different learning from the course and different experiences of your own. Each journal entry needs to have references from relevant readings (in-text citations & reference list). Further details on what to include in each entry are shown in the following sections.
