Caring Science encompasses a humanitarian, human science orientation to human caring processes, phenomena, and experiences. Caring science includes arts and humanities as well as, science. The caring science perspective acknowledges interconnectedness as the foundation of all caring interactions and activities. Transpersonal caring acknowledges the unity of life and the connections that are made with individuals and the community (Sitzman & Watson, 2018. P. 20)
The 10 Caritas Processes provide the language to communicate the universals of human caring. These processes also help to form the foundation for the nursing profession, and is a guide for professional practice and caring intentions. The caritas processes are based on; embracing altruistic values and encourages nurses to practice kindness with themselves and others. It is about inspiring faith, hope and respecting others by nurturing individual beliefs, personal growth and practices. By undertaking this approach nurses are able to demonstrate transpersonal caring and establish a trusting therapeutic relationships with their patients and others (Sitzman & Watson, 2018).

This assessment task consists of two parts and includes an introduction and conclusion:

Part B (400 words)
