Jan cu - American Airlines Inc. use a conversation type of performance review cycle. The organization are having challenge on quantifying the year-end employee conversation to an exact number that relates to compensation pay increase, training and development, promotions and succession lines. Part of the problems is that, managers and employees are not knowledge enough on writing a smart corporate goals. Managers and employees are not fully utilizing the performance review tool on full functionality, all the conversation and check-ins was being tracked outside of the system and having problems reconciling the conversation and summary during the end of the year. 

2. The one page (1” margins, 12 point font, double spaced) executive summary is due at the end of Week 7 (Monday 11:59pm). 

This should just be a one-page brief that could be provided to attendees at a meeting to help them understand what your project is about. 

Synthesize the information from your full paper since most employees want an abbreviated item to read. Please include: 

a) A brief summary of the problem 

b) A brief summary of your proposed solution 

c) Intended results from implementation of your proposed solution 

3. Your written project is due at the end of Week 7 (Monday 11:59pm). It should contain a maximum of 15 double-spaced pages (1 inch margins, 12 point font). You will be penalized significantly for exceeding this limit. 

The limit does not include appendices, which you are free to use to provide charts, figures, or other background material not necessary in the main body of your analysis. However, appendices that are not directly referenced in the main text will not be read. 

This written project should summarize what you did for/within the organization, what you have learned about organizational behavior, and what you have learned about working on a project to improve organizational effectiveness or organizational culture specifically. Additional references are strongly encouraged to support your position and add credibility to the value-added proposition it has on the organization. Drawing support from research is a critical part of this assignment as well as supporting your approach with what has been learned throughout the course.
