Assignment Task :

The second sprint has three deliverables:
A sprint document incorporating the various artefacts pertaining to that sprint (details below). The document should be a PDF file and should contain appropriate title page (which includes the names and student numbers of the team members), page and section numbering, figure and table numbering where relevant, and a correctly formatted contents table.
A single video file that screen-captures a demonstration of the end-of-sprint increment. The video must be a maximum of 10 minutes duration and include an audio commentary of the demonstration. For this second sprint review, the video file is to be regarded as part of the assessment in lieu of a face-to-face demonstration.

The second sprint document should comprise the following sections:
i.
A written retrospective of the first sprint and the associated sprint review (i.e., software demonstration with the tutor) that has taken place. The retrospective should summarise the positive and negative aspects of the first sprint with respect to what was (and what was not) achieved when measured against the sprint plan and the associated sprint backlog. The idea is that this retrospective will have informed the planning of the second sprint. If there have been revisions to the product and sprint backlogs as a result of the retrospective, then these should be clearly highlighted.

ii. A statement of the second sprint goal.
iii. An updated product backlog, and a sprint backlog representing all the features that have been pulled from the product backlog for the second sprint (i.e., ‘sprint items’). For each sprint backlog item, the section should indicate a mapping to the development tasks that need to be performed to complete the item. Each task should map to an individual member of the team responsible for completion of that task, and an appropriate story point estimate.

iv. A summary of the relative success of the sprint in terms of the initially planned sprint backlog and the tasks that were completed. This section should include a ‘burn-up chart’ that was completed over the duration of the second sprint.

v. An audit of all team ‘scrums’ (i.e., meetings). Each entry in this audit should indicate the time, date and duration of the scrum, list the team members that were present, and have a section describing the discussion that took place. This audit should be included as an appendix to the document.
