2) Identify the population to which this hypothesis refers. (5 points)

3) If you were to conduct a study to test this hypothesis, identify a sample that you might use to test it. (5 points)


4) A radiologist screens MRI scans of patients’ brains to determine whether there are any tumors present. Please craft a table showing the four possible outcomes that may result based on presence or absence of a tumor and the decision the radiologist makes about whether the tumor is present or absent. Be sure to label all parts of the table, as well as each of the 4 cells. Be sure to highlight which outcome constitutes a Type 1 error and which constitutes a Type 2 error. (16 points)
