Programming Language - Measurements - Mandurah - Data Analytics Assessment Answer
Assessment Task:

Introduction

In this paper, the studies were carried out using various statistical tests, such as the R reset, Breusch-Pagan test and Tukey post-hoc Tukey correlation test using R programming language, on given data of the level of growth in the floral spike, of almost the same age, in 4 distinct places across Australia during three different burning season.

Methods and Data

The data includes measurements of growth rate of floral spikes length of Australian grass trees (recorded in cm), over a span of one year and in four different locations: Yanchep, Mundaring, Mandurah and the Pickering Brook.  Each plant is approximately the same age at each venue.  An extra feature also occurs about the season when the region was burnt. The first theory was created with a visual inspection in this article. Then we adapted different models of regression with various predictors and interactions between them. On the basis of the R-squared and p-value, reset and Breusch-Pagan Test on the models, the final model selected. In the Tukey experiment, the relationship between the variables were also checked.

Question 2

Introduction

In this question, we conducted experiments in order to find the best model to predict the number of plant seeds by adjusting predictor lengths, locations and interactions between them. The final model is based on the prototype, reset, Breusch-Pagan and Tukey comparison test in R.

Methods and Data

The response variable in the data is the number of seeds produced from each plant. The plants are Australian Grasstrees.  There is a factor variable: location (Yanchep and Mundaring).  There is also a quantitative variable (length of the plant flower spike) measured in metres that may help predict the response.Similar to Question 1the initial theory was created with a visual inspection in this article. Then we adapted different models of regression with various predictors and interactions between them. Based on the R-squared and p-value, reset and Breusch-Pagan Test on the models, the final model selected. In the Tukey experiment, the relationship between the variables were also checked.
