Question :

1. Write a Java program to calculate the factorial for a number. Use a while loop to perform the calculation. 
2. Develop code to convert a numeric day to a named day of the week (1=Sunday, 2=Monday, etc.). Write code that will take an int variable named day and print the corresponding named day to the standard output. Use a switch statement. 
3. Given the following detailed description, identify the objects, data members, and operations that can be used to solve the problem. “Write a program to input the radius of a circle and calculate and print the diameter, circumference, and area of the circle.” 
4. Create a class with a single method that will find the minimum value in a one-dimensional array. The method should return the value once it has processed the array. The main method of your class should declare and initialize a one-dimensional array, call the main method, and print out the minimum value. 
5. Write a Java program that takes a few strings using command line arguments and displays the initial character of each string. 
6. Create a Java class containing a recursive method that calculates the result of raising an int to an int power. For example, 2 to the 3rd is 8. The class should contain the pow function that takes two int parameters - the number and the exponent and returns the number raised to the exponent power. The class should also include a main method that calls the pow method and prints the results. 
7. Implement Bubble Sort algorithm using Java. Write a class Bubblesort having methods – swap, sort, print, etc. 
8. Create a class Account that stores the customer name, account number, and type of account. From this derive the classes Curr_acc and Sav_acc to make them more specific. Include the necessary methods to accept deposit, allow withdrawal, compute interest, display balance etc. 
9. Write a java program to show usage of exceptions like Arithmetic Exception, Array Index Out Of Bound Exception, Number Format Exception. 
10. Write an applet to draw a square inside a circle and circle inside a square.  
 

 Assignment :

1. Create a web page that will have separate links to show map of India and the World. When the user will open a map of India, create links to display the information of each state i.e. highlighted in the map in a separate window/document. (The information should be brief i.e. not more than 3-4 sentences.) When user will open a world map, show the list of countries on clicking the image in a new window. 
2. Create a web page having two vertical frames. The leftmost frames should be ¼ of the screen and should contain hyperlinks for Bulleted List, Numbered List, and Definition List. On clicking respective links display an example of the list in the next frame. 
3. Write an HTML page to display information on three products. The name of three products should be displayed at the top. The hyperlink should be provided to move to the details of the product like its features, size, price, etc. along with its image. The link should be an internal link. 
4. Print a calendar for the month of March 2016. Display all Sundays in Red color, the holidays other than Sunday in Blue color and the rest in green color. 
5. Create an HTML page to accept customer’s information for the following with appropriate form elements: Customer Name, Address, Gender, Languages known, City, and to submit and clear the contents 
6. Create a web page that will have one table and 2 paragraphs. Create different styles for the table cells and paragraphs. Maintain a separate style sheet file for table whereas the styles for paragraph should be maintained in the same file. 
7. Explain the following tags with the attributes that often required. Write a suitable example for each.   (1) SELECT (2) TEXT AREA 
8. Explain the HTML tags for the following text formatting with example. (a) Superscript (b) Subscript (c) Strikethrough (d) Super bold (e) Underline
