Case Study Scenario:
You have recently started working at Plan2go as the newly appointed Operations Manager as the Head of Operations.  There has been a major restructure of the organisation and your job is to implement the operational plan for the business.
Plan2go is an innovative Australian company that:
•    provides professional travel services and technology for corporate clients
•    develops technology solutions for corporate events.
Plan2go has over 50 employees based all over the country.  You work at head office in Melbourne.  A new Plan2go office will be opening on the Gold Coast in the next four months and you are also in charge of this project.
The organisation is currently in the process of rewriting their operational plan but you have been asked to begin implementing components of the current plan.
You will implement one strategic goal from Plan2go’s operational plan by monitoring and adjusting operational performance, planning and acquiring resources and providing reports on performance as required.  The strategic goal that you will implement is:  ‘Develop and maintain meaningful customer relationships’.  The budget allocated is noted in the Plan2go Operational Plan.  You will also need to monitor the performance of team members in line with those plans.  You will manage contingencies by adjusting the implementation of the operational plan in consultation with relevant personnel.
