In this assessment, you are required to write a 2000 words report, that demonstrates you have developed a workplace objectives and strategies that addresses the current failure of a case study company (Baddock) inretaining its staff. To do so you will need to complete analyses of the organisational environment from the
appendix below to develop an understanding of potential staff dissatisfaction and associated risks and benefits. Procedure
For the provided case study, you are required to complete:
1
. staff statue analysis
2. recommendations on how to rectify retention in the workplace
3. align business statement with staff requirements
4. outline objectives and importance of retaining required skill labor
5. include workforce diversity and cross-cultural management objectives in the HR policy
Once you have developed these materials, you need to meet with your supervisor (role-played by assessor) to discuss and confirm the analyses you have completed, together with the summary of potential rectification action plan. Take notes in the meeting with your supervisor and make any changes as suggested by them, before submitting your final version

Case study Baddocks (BLC) is a legal firm which is working hard to become a leading legal firm in Melbourne area. The company's overall strategy will be based on a continuing improvement process of setting objectives, measuring results, and providing feedback to facilitate further growth and progress. They have been involved in successful legal representations for five years. (For more information, refer Baddock’s business plan attached below). However, recently unlike their mission statement which boasts ‘Baddocks’ friendly, well-trained staff provide superior customer service’, BLS’s reputation has been tarnished so badly. The reason for that is high turnover of its staff and the low rate review it gets in SEEK.COM mainly given by its staff who left the company. Baddocks, CEO has hired you to lead a project which can be summarised as ‘redesigning the workforce objectives and strategies’. The immediate objective is to ensure improvement and avoid the failures that the company is encountering’ in terms of high staff turnover. The secondary objective is to alleviate the consequences that are caused by the high turnover which include damage of Baddock’s brand reputation, staff dissatisfaction, unhealthy work environment, very bad relation with customers. Your main priority according to the CEO’s instruction is to develop workforce objectives and strategies: that include strategies to address unacceptable staff turnover, if required leading project to ensure the success of the tasks and integrate with other similar projects within the organization, define objectives to retain required skilled labour promote workforce diversity and cross-cultural management, and source skilled labour.
